Under Government guidelines people are allowed to utilise parks and open spaces for exercise once a day as individuals or in family groups. Consequently the open spaces and recreation grounds maintained by Anston Parish Council remain open but people using them are required to adhere to the Government's guidelines on social distancing.

During the Coronavirus pandemic Anston Parish Council will be working with Rotherham Council and other agencies to support their efforts to help stop the spread of the virus and to support those in need in the community.

Please note that due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic all meetings of the Parish Council and the Recreation Ground Charity scheduled to take place over the next couple of months have been cancelled along with the Annual Parish Meeting on 22nd April. The Annual Meeting of the Council is still down to go ahead on 18th May but that will be reviewed nearer the time.
