Please note that the Parish Council operated cemetery at South Anston remains open for people to visit. Recent government legislation requires crematoria to close except for funerals and for cemeteries containing crematoria to also close except for funerals. However other cemeteries, such as the one at South Anston, can remain open.

Under Government guidelines people are allowed to utilise parks and open spaces for exercise once a day as individuals or in family groups. Consequently the open spaces and recreation grounds maintained by Anston Parish Council remain open but people using them are required to adhere to the Government's guidelines on social distancing.

Please note that due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic all meetings of the Parish Council and the Recreation Ground Charity scheduled to take place over the next couple of months have been cancelled along with the Annual Parish Meeting on 22nd April. The Annual Meeting of the Council is still down to go ahead on 18th May but that will be reviewed nearer the time.
