Notice of Casual Vacancy - Cllr Stuart Thornton
Please note that a casual vacancy now exists for the north ward of Anston Parish Council. Cllr Stuart Thornton having ceased to be a member of the Council by virtue of non-attendance at meetings for six months further to Section 85(1) of the Local Government Act 1972. The vacancy will be filled through the (uncontested) elections to the Parish Council on 6th May 2021.

Remembering HRH The Duke of Edinburgh
Please note that St James' Church, South Anston will be open from 10am to 12pm on both Tuesday 13th April and Thursday 15th April for those wishing to pay their respects to HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.

Notice of Uncontested Parish Council Elections - 6th May 2021
RMBC have informed us that following the close of nominations on 8th April the elections to both the north and south wards of Anston Parish Council on 6th May will be uncontested and the successful candidates will take office on Tuesday 11th May 2021.

Anston Parish Council joins the nation in mourning the death of His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh and our condolences are with Her Majesty the Queen and the members of the Royal Family. An online book of condolence can be found on the Royal Family's website.
