Following the resignation of Cllr Jonathan Ireland a casual vacancy now exists on the South Ward of the Parish Council. Please find below the formal notice of the vacancy and details of the process by which local electors can call for an election to fill the vacancy. If an election is not called then the Parish Council can co-opt to fill the vacancy.

Anston Funfair (4th August - 7th August)

Anston Funfair (4th August - 7th August)

We are pleased to announce that the Dowse family will be putting on a funfair at the Anston Parish Hall Recreation Ground off Ryton Road from Wednesday 4th August to Saturday 7th August.

It will be open weekdays 5pm to 9pm and Saturday 1pm to 9pm.

There will be no parking at the Recreation Ground but we hope to see plenty of families at the funfair and supporting this community event.
