Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

Anston Parish Council are pleased to announce that they are putting on a Family Fun Day to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee and to support local charities.
Please join us on the Recreation Ground, Ryton Road, Anston.
Thursday, 2nd June 2022
13:00 – 22:00 hours
Activities on the day include:
Fun Dog Show (10 Classes)
Thornberry Animal Sanctuary
Various Stalls
Including charity stalls for Bluebell Wood Hospice & St James Church
Activities for the Children including:
Face Painting
Make A Crown
Helium Balloons
Fairground Rides (from 1pm to 5pm)
Fire Engine (from 14:30)
In our Parish Hall the ladies from Anston Womens Institute
Will be servings refreshments including a wide selection of homemade cakes
DJ – in support of Anston Scout Group
And in conjunction with Anston Cricket Club
BBQ and Bar
Live Band - Funky Business (from 18:45 to 21:15)
(for your comfort we would suggest bringing your own seating if you wish)
Ringing of church bells (21:15)
St James Church
Up to the lighting of the Community Beacon (21:45)
Entry is free. However as the event is being held on our Recreation Ground please be advised that there will be no parking available on the day
