Halls, Facilities and Land for Hire

Anston Parish Hall belongs to the Anston Parish Council Recreation Ground Charity of which the Parish Council is the sole trustee.

The hall is available for hire at the Parish Hall for meetings and events. Available Monday to Saturday between 9am and 11pm, and Sunday between 10am and 8pm. This hall can accommodate up to 180 people standing or 90 people seated, and can be hired for £16.53 an hour. The room has toilets, kitchen facilities and tables and chairs available. Groups hiring the room 30 or more times a year are eligible for a 25% discount after the first year. This discount will only be applied after 30 sessions.

Inflatables and coloured paint/powders are not permitted in the Parish Hall. Permission must be sought from Anston Parish Council to sell or consume alcohol on the premises.

Anston Parish Council has control of two allotment sites. One in South Anston off Azalea Close which has 43 plots, and one in North Anston near the Parish Hall which has 25 plots, all of varying sizes.

To qualify for an allotment in Anston, you must be an Anston resident with an Anston address.

As part of the Allotment Terms and Conditions, as a tenant you must have at least 25% of your allotment cultivated within 3 months and at least 75% cultivated within one year. Your allotment must be kept tidy, free of weeds and not left to overgrow during winter months.
