Cllr Ben Bentley
Councillor
A relative newcomer to the village, Ben and his family moved to Anston in 1984 on completion of a career in HM Forces. Subsequently employed by the Ministry of Defence and the Office for National Statistics as well as starting a successful health, safety and environmental consultancy he retired a few years ago. He still maintains a close affinity with the military particularly with veterans welfare affairs.
Before becoming a member of council Ben was involved in several campaigns in the community including ones relating to the erection of a mobile telecommunications facility and the sale of school playing fields. Ben is an independent member of the Parish Council and wants to see all working towards the best and overall interests of the parish. Cllr Bentley is a member of the Council for the north ward of the parish and is a member of the Finance and Staffing Committees of the Council.
